Patent Grant Rate of 70%

We have maintained an average grant rate(※)of over 70% for the last 20 years. This grant rate is considered remarkably high, given the fact that patent grant rate of all the application filed with the Japan Patent Office is around 50% in these days, according to the JPO’s official announcement.
In addition, in order to raise accuracy, the patent grant rate since year 2010 is calculated excluding the cases lapsed by not responding to an office action in accordance with a client's intention to close the case.
We consider the key to achieving the high rate is our IP knowledge accumulated during our considerable experience in the IP field for over 30 years.
